Meet Minister Felicia Charles

Felicia Charles was born and raised in Elizabeth, N.J. Her journey with Christ began at Guiding Star Holy Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Elijah Holmes. She became a fervent intercessor and a lover of God’s word.

In 2010, in spite her adversities, she began a new spiritual journey at Praise Temple Interdenominational Church under the leadership of Bishop Tony McNeil. In 2016 she was licensed and ordained as a minister and served on various ministries. She was nicknamed “Happy Feet” because she always has a praise for the Lord through her holy dance.

In 2021, the Lord transitioned Felicia to Freedom and Liberty Outreach Fellowship, under the leadership of Pastor Tanya McAllister-Miller where she serves as Women Ministry Leader, Pastor’s Aide Ministry leader, and serves on staff as a minister.

Felicia Charles is a teacher, preacher, mentor, and educator who is very passionate about serving and ministering in the house of the Lord, helping those that are broken, restoring hope back to families, and empowering women to become the best version of themselves. She is the proud

mother of 5 children; 2 bonus children; and 5 adorable grandchildren. Additionally, she loves to cook and travel. Felicia is an educator for the Newark Public School District, holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics as well as a Dual Master’s Degree in Elementary Education

and Special Education. 

In 2024, she made her double debut as an author. Her books the novel and devotional “Diary of an Ex-First Lady” are available at Amazon and Barnes & Nobles.

Felicia can attest that “if it had not been for the Lord who was on our side” she would not be where she is today.
