Meet Our Pastor

Some call it ministry. Some call it leadership. But what God is doing through Overseer Tanya T. McAllister is nothing less than a divine assignment in motion.

At 17 she stepped away from church, entering a season that would ultimately become part of the testimony God would use to shape her voice and sharpen her authority. In 1999, tragedy struck with the devastating loss of her beloved son, Jacque H. Parrott (deceased). But what the enemy intended to silence her, God used to summon her. In the depths of grief, Overseer Tanya began searching for God with relentless hunger—visiting houses of worship, praying, seeking, and refusing to remain broken without answers.

That search led her to Praise Temple ICOG in Linden, NJ in November 2003 under the leadership of Bishop Tony McNeill. What followed was 18½ years of divine preparation. Years where God pressed her, refined her, stretched her, and built spiritual endurance within her. During that time she served in the Usher Ministry, Sounds of Pentecost Choir, President of the Dance Ministry, Secretary of the Women’s Ministry, and the Media Ministry. But even then, it was clear—Overseer Tanya was not simply called to participate in ministry.

She was called to build. She initiated the YMCA Holiday Dinner to serve the community and launched Youth Connection Bible Church in 2010 to ignite faith in the next generation. In October 2013 she organized the M.S.C. Sisterhood, creating a powerful gathering place where women could come broken and rise restored—crying, praying, healing, and rediscovering their strength in God.

On September 24, 2010, she married her ministry partner and greatest encourager, the late Minister Kevin Miller. For eleven years they labored together in Kingdom work, demonstrating that true ministry partnership is built on unity, sacrifice, and purpose.

But Overseer Tanya is not confined to traditional ministry lanes. She is a builder of platforms, voices, and movements. In 2012 she launched Scripture DC, a Bible Study Talk Show that brings bold, uncompromising conversations about the Word of God into spaces where truth must be heard. In 2014 she ignited the Power of Prayer Weekend Strength Prayer Line, mobilizing believers into intercession. In 2015 she launched Project Penn, an outreach mission committed to meeting people at the point of their need. 

Her impact reaches far beyond the walls of the church. She is also the Founder of T. Terrain Productions, a creative force designed to amplify faith-centered encounters. Overseer Tanya helps lead Manna Meal Blessings, a joint collaboration with Algie Mae’s Grill, LLC bringing food, dignity, and compassion to communities in need. Also under this umbrella leads A-Team Funeral Ministrations, standing in sacred spaces with families during their most painful moments, ministering comfort and hope when grief fills the room.

In 2016 she was licensed and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Bishop Tony McNeill. Yet the call on her life continued to intensify.

In June of 2021, after what she describes as a season of being spiritually “shaken baby syndrome”, God made it clear that the time for preparation had given way to the time for demonstration.

With the blessing of her spiritual leader, she stepped forward in bold obedience and launched Freedom & Liberty Outreach Fellowship on September 11, 2021—a ministry rooted in one powerful declaration: “The place where you can be all that God created you to be.”

On April 10, 2022, Overseer Tanya received her Pastoral Institution from Bishop Richard Jennings of the United Fellowship of Kingdom Churches and Ministries, Inc., affirming the apostolic grace and leadership mantle resting upon her life.

Her hunger for God is matched by her pursuit of knowledge. Overseer Tanya will be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Screven Memorial Bible Institute, strengthening the foundation of the powerful work she continues to build.

Yet her assignment does not stop at preaching. Overseer Tanya is a Certified Master Transformation Coach, Forgiveness Coach, Certified Christian Counselor, a teacher at SMBI, and a freelance editor, helping individuals confront brokenness, dismantle spiritual barriers, and step fully into the identity God designed for them.

She is also the author of the books Order in the Court: Mistrial of the Saints and I OBJECT—bold works that challenge the body of Christ to confront disorder, awaken spiritual accountability, and rise into alignment with the authority of God’s Word.

Overseer Tanya is the proud mother of her daughter, Qiana D. Hill (MSW, CLSW, CCTP), and the loving mother of her son Jacque H. Parrott (deceased), whose life and memory continue to fuel her compassion, strength, and relentless commitment to helping others find healing after loss.

Many know her as a mentor.  Many recognize her as a spiritual mother.  Others call her a midwife in the spirit because she helps people push purpose into the earth. But one thing is undeniable: Overseer Tanya T. McAllister is not simply carrying a title.  She is carrying a mantle. A mantle to call order. A mantle to confront complacency.  A mantle to awaken purpose.  A mantle to remind the body of Christ who we are called to be. 

Her life echoes the promise of Ephesians 3:20 — that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

And through Overseer Tanya’s life and ministry, that power is not hidden. It is moving.  It is building.  And it is shaking the ground wherever God sends her.
